For our own little going away party we decided to host Casino Night. We had craps, blackjack, texas hold 'em and roulette. A different set of neighbors from the christmas tree thing helped us out a lot, and really helped make it that much better. It was a huge hit.Everyone bought in and received a rack of chips then got to play whichever game they wanted and bet as much as they wanted. At the end of the night we held an auction (using the chips they won or lost depending on who it was) for prizes. We had some pretty good prizes too, dive gift certificates, dinner and movie gift certificates and even more great stuff. One person was far and away the winner with over 70,000 in chips. He actually won it all in the last hour, betting upwards of 5000 a hand on blackjack.
