These are all from Skinner Plaza, which is somewhat near the middle of the island. It is right across the street from Chamorro Village, as if that helps you place it at all.
Of course the theme for everything is Christmas in the pacific, so you have to have light up palm trees.
I thought it was unique that this building did the shape of the cross in their window. They are across the street from the Agana Cathedral, where the Pope visited and conducted mass in the 80's.
This is the cathedral from the plaza across the street.
Speaking of the Pope, here he is. Life size statue in the middle of the street. We were told this is the exact spot he gave mass in.
And of course Reindeer don't guide any sleighs here, its all caribou.
Here is the Christmas cake Christine made, its actually the 2nd one of these but we didn't get pictures of the first.
And here is our little Christmas shrine, can you decipher what it is?
Thats right, animatronic reindeer in our living room! What every Christmas shrine needs.
I just mopped the floors earlier that day, thats why they look so good.
And just to remind you, its Christmas morning, 86 degrees outside, 74 inside. Merry Christmas.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Christine's Cake is not just magnificent, gorgeous, unique, delightful, and beautiful, it is delicious too. Because the first one disappeared in a heart beat, she had to make two of them so it would be around long enough to take a picture of so you could share it with us. In all my years I never made anything so delicious that it disappeared in a heartbeat.
By the way, isn't that an Oxen pulling the sleigh?
We have been wondering all day how you were spending your Christmas day and what you were eating and what it looked like over there at Christmas time. Thank you for the pics they really made our day. We love all your pics.
